Which one
Club nights, festival stages, VJ sets, anything synced to the beat. You want a Mac. You rely on Wire, Juicebar or VST. You need a tool other VJs already know.
Theatre, corporate events, concerts run from a timecode or a cue sheet. A backup machine must be in the price. The lighting desk sends the rig as MVR and expects pixels back on Art-Net. You are on Windows.
